Very Simply and Not a Clue

I acquired the valsjewels domain name many, many years ago when I was in direct sales selling lia sophia jewelry, hence the jewels. At first I purchased valsjewels.net (did not have a clue what to do with it, subsequently it expired, I wasted about $200).

In 2007 I was laid-off from my job and got the bright idea to sew Christmas Stockings, sell them on Amazon to supplement my unemployed status. Cost me $100 per month to be a seller on Amazon - WHAT???

Mind you this is late in my life, so I took early retirement hoping to make ends meet while unemployed. I went back to Go Daddy and purchased valsjewels.biz and set up a DBA under valsjewels (I'm still direct selling for lia sophia jewelry and thought the "jewels" part could work for both products).

Fast forward a bit and skip all the "hardships" in between 2007-2010 I learned from my Amazon Webstore and selling on Amazon.com everything anybody would ever need to know about Web-Templates, DNS, Meta, Tags, Widgets, Script, Head, Body, HTML, WYSIWYG, etc..

I purchased valsjewels.com and setup my own website with Just Host as my Hosting Service.

I discontinued my Amazon Webstore and parked my .biz domain name with Google AdSense.

I am now my own webmaster and . . .

• selling my skill-set - the jewels being my technology, logic, determination and creativity to consult, coach and master the Internet for the online shopper and website owner (established or wanna-be) and my name is Val.

Why Internet coaching services?

I became a Windows Server and Office specialist. By necessity, I learned programming language and other key technical stuff. From then on, I just had to keep training and tweaking until I understood it. It was no different when I got into the Internet - Hosting companies - HTML code - Templates - CSS - Blogs - Site Building - Site Administration - Domain registration - Passive Income aka Paid Ads.

I am not a developer or programmer or FTP or Dreamworks or FrontPage expert. However, I know enough to coach you through the basics of websites, site building, blogging, socially networking and paid ads. I'm an admitted user-geek who knows a little bit about an awful lot, and unlike many users; I enjoy figuring these things out, or shall I say I am driven to get the answer.

I started my own website and am now an Amazon Associate selling their products, signed up with Google AdSense and making a commission.

I set up iGoogle - LinkedIn - MySpace - Blogger - WordPress - Facebook - Facebook Fan pages - Twitter - Word Press Live and TypePad. All posts and status streams are linked to post to each other with feeds (RSS).

I love what I do and do what I love. Coaching/Consulting you to get your very own website launched is what I live for and love to do. I keep things as simple as possible.

My Strengths: This industry races by faster than the speed of light. The second you have a full grasp on a technology, something newer, better, and totally different comes along. This is a constant, and it means my coaching education and knowledge must be ever-fluid and expanding. Without the want or willingness to learn new technologies or skills, my coaching or webmastering isn't going to be much use to my customers.

eCommerce Store - Yes you can

An example below of how you, a small or home based business, can have an eCommerce website.
