1. From each piece of fleece, cut a 56" x 70" rectangle.
   1. Cut both at the same time
2. Place fleece rectangles wrong side together.
   1. Smooth and pin together approximately 10" from outside edges all the way around spaced 12" or more apart (just enough pining to hold the two together).
3. Cut out 7" square from each corner of both fleece pieces.
4. To make the fringe, cut 7" into fleece at 1" intervals around all sides of both top and bottom.
5. Knot fringe pieces together around entire blanket, using one strand from the front and one strand from the back.

1. From each piece of fleece, cut a 26" x 26" square.
   1. Cut both at the same time.
2. Place fleece squares wrong sides together.
   1. Smooth and pin together 10" from outside edges and sparingly; just to hold together.
3. Cut out a 5" square from each corner of both fleece pieces.
4. To make the fringe, cut 5" into fleece at 1" intervals around all sides of both top and bottom.
5. Knot fringe pieces together on three sides, using on strand from the front and one strand from the back.
6. Insert pillow form between front and back of fleece. Knot last side closed.

• Depending on the fleece and especially Licensed Characters you may want to trim the salvage before you cut out your blanket - Trim off any selvage around the edges of your fleece (try not to cut in more than 2 inches). Fleece Fabric widths are usually 58" before trimming the salvage; each pattern and its salvage is different. Solids are no problem.

• Tie these knots on every other fringe around the entire blanket. Then flip the whole blanket over and tie the remaining knots until your blanket is complete. (This helps your knotted ends to look perfect).

• Some prefer to only tie one knot, but I like to double knot them. This helps them from coming untied especially in the wash.
